Buying a CD

CDs are sold through our Etsy shop, not on this site. Your order, address and payment are handled by Etsy under Etsy’s privacy policy. We see only what Etsy shows sellers for an order.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful, including when someone clicks through to our Etsy listing. Google Analytics uses cookies and receives your IP address, browser details and the pages you view. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland it runs without analytics cookies. You can block it with any content blocker or with Google’s opt-out add-on. Google describes its use of this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

The mixtape email list

If you join the list, we store your email address, your first name if you give it, where you signed up, the wording you agreed to, and when. We use it only to send the list. Emails are sent through Resend. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all mail from the list. We never sell or share the list.

The free tools

• CD case and sleeve templates: photos you add are read by your browser and never uploaded.
• Playlist length calculator: the song names you paste are sent to our server, which looks up their lengths through Deezer’s public search. We don’t keep the lists.
• Cover maker: covers you save are stored against a random ID kept in your browser, so you can come back to them. Clearing your browser storage disconnects them.
• Discover and Atlas: artist pictures and song previews load from Deezer. Your playlist is kept in your browser.
